I bought this unit at a big box store for about half a Benjamin. It is a 5LB unit and came fully charged. The big box store claims a charged weight of 8.5 lbs and my inaccurate bathroom scale read 8 pounds. It is rated 3-A and 40-B:C. It comes with a mounting bracket and a 'Fire Extinguisher' arrow sign as well as an inspection tag. Only one extinguisher for about half a Benjamin. It's rechargable so if you can get 4 uncharged units (as the other reviewer was lead to believe) maybe it is worth it but I am not even sure where I can recharge this if it becomes necessary. If you get one uncharged unit then the price seems high. It has a 6 year warranty. My homeowners insurance requires that I have a fire extinguisher and I am worried they would not pay if I am unlucky enough to have a fire and no extinguisher.

This product came as a package of 4. Upon receipt, there was only ONE in the box and the gauge on it was on EMPTY. Needless to say, I was not pleased. Amazon was great about crediting my account back immediately.
